I am back to Fundraising for Dangerous: Kay Boyle.
Since our last bit of fundraising I have completed the negative to digital transfers of all of the original 16mm film that was shot of Kay and others in the 1980’s and 90’s. All of the original 1/4 inch audio has been converted to digital and I have been researching and locating many new stills and archival footage for the film.
I am currently working on the edit and it is going well. Slowly but surely this film is getting completed.
I am trying to raise an additional $20,000 between now and the end of the year so that I can pay for stock photos and archival footage and work on titles and graphic treatments of many of the elements. There are an awful lot of other things I need to pay for that I can’t do myself. I feel like we are on the final stretch here to get Dangerous: Kay Boyle finally wrapped up and I’m very excited. There is still a lot of work to do and I am enjoying all of it.
So please take a minute and click on the Kay Boyle Film button on the menu bar and learn more about this extraordinary woman and if you want/need a Tax Deduction please click on the button below and help us out. Thank you.
Here is Kay talking about Paris in the 1920’s and how it’s all been “twisted around”. And she would know, she was there. I’ll be posting more so please come back and check it out. Enjoy
Please help me complete my film by making a Tax Deductible Donation.
