The “31 Days of Kay Boyle” Day Thirty
We are getting to the end of our August Fundraising Campaign and I want to thank everyone who has participated both this month and in the past. If you haven’t done so already, please make a Tax Deductible Donation to Dangerous: Kay Boyle through the Fredericksburg Athenaeum.
Here is Kay receiving an Honorary Doctorate at Bowling Green State University (1985) and talking about The Revolution of the Word, the document that encouraged American Writers not to write like the English anymore but to develop a true American language in the books that they wrote! Enjoy.
The Fredericksburg Athenaeum, a 501c(3) non-profit organization is a production partner on the film so all donations are Tax Deductible.
I understand money is tight, it’s tight for all of us, but even a $5 contribution helps. And if you can’t afford that, then please pass my URL along to your friends and followers and ask them to check out my site, ask them to help.
Every day this month you’ll meet someone here who’ll tell you why they think this film is important and why it needs to be finished.
A word from Kelley Baker the filmmaker.
The only way this is going to work is if you help me.
For more information about Kay click on the Kay Boyle Film tab at the top of the page and check out the different pages.
The filming portion of Dangerous: Kay Boyle is complete. Over the years I shot 25,000 feet of 16mm film and a workprint was struck. The early editing on this movie was done in film, but now I need to transfer everything to digital to complete it. I also need to pay for archival film, stills and music rights. There is still a long way to go.

We need to raise $30,000 to complete, Dangerous: Kay Boyle.
Please help me complete my film by making a Tax Deductible Donation.
