It’s Day 18 1/2 (with apologies to Fellini) so I’m posting a couple of bonus clips…
This is Studs Terkel talking about the “coarse behavior” of today and how Kay Boyle was just the opposite. This was shot in 1985 and unfortunately we’ve become much more coarse since then…
From Dangerous: Kay Boyle, a work in progress.
Kay Boyle talks about getting Angry, also 1985

Every day this month you’ll meet someone here who’ll tell you why they think this film is important and why it needs to be finished.
The only way this is going to work is if you help me.

The filming portion of Dangerous: Kay Boyle is complete. Over the years I shot 25,000 feet of 16mm film and a workprint was struck. The early editing on this movie was done in film, but now I need to transfer everything to digital to complete it. I also need to pay for archival film, stills and music rights. There is still a long way to go.
